Welcome to The Appliance Repair Men

This policy explains what The Appliance Repair Men collects when you contact us or book a repair, why we hold it, and what we do not do with it.

What we collect

When you book an appointment we collect the name, address, phone number and email address needed to reach you and to reach your appliance, together with the appliance details you give us. When you call, we keep a note of the conversation for the same reason. The booking form in the sidebar is operated by our scheduling provider, and the details you enter there are passed to us to arrange the visit.

Why we hold it

To arrange and carry out the repair, to honor the warranty on work we have completed, to order parts, and to meet the record-keeping that tax and consumer law requires of us. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to marketing companies.

How long we keep it

Service records, including appliance details, parts installed and warranty dates, are kept for as long as we may need them to honor a warranty claim and to satisfy our legal obligations. Records that no longer serve either purpose are deleted.

Sharing

We share what is necessary with the parts suppliers and the scheduling provider we use to run the business, and with nobody else, except where the law requires disclosure.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it. Write to service@homesteadappliancerepairman.com or call (844) 295-8572.

Cookies

This site sets only the cookies WordPress needs to function. We do not run advertising trackers. The booking form is loaded from our scheduling provider and may set its own cookies once it is opened.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page. Continued use of the site after that point means the revised version applies.
