Refund and Cancellation Policy Homestead | (844) 295-8572

Welcome to The Appliance Repair Men

This policy sets out how cancellations, diagnostic charges, parts and refunds work at The Appliance Repair Men.

Cancelling an appointment

Cancel or move an appointment at any time before the technician sets out and there is nothing to pay. Call (844) 295-8572 as early as you can, because the slot can usually be given to someone else the same day.

The diagnostic charge

The diagnostic charge is quoted when you book. It covers the visit and the testing, and it is folded into the repair price if you go ahead. If, after diagnostics, we determine that the appliance cannot be repaired safely or economically, only the diagnostic charge is due and no repair is carried out.

Declining the quote

You are free to decline the quote after diagnostics. Nothing beyond the diagnostic charge is owed, and we will leave the appliance as we found it.

Parts

Parts ordered specifically for your appliance are ordered against your approved quote. Where a supplier accepts a return, we pass the refund on less any restocking charge the supplier applies. Electrical parts that have been installed and powered are generally not returnable, which is why we confirm the diagnostics before ordering.

Warranty claims

If the same problem recurs within 30 days of the completed repair, call us and we return and re-perform the work at no charge for labor. If a part we installed fails within the manufacturer warranty period for that part, we replace it and charge only for the labor if the 30 days have passed.

Refunds

Where a refund is due it is returned by the method you paid with, normally within five to ten business days of being agreed.

How to raise something

Call (844) 295-8572 or write to service@homesteadappliancerepairman.com. Tell us the invoice number and what has happened, and we will deal with it directly rather than through a third party.
