These terms govern the use of this website and the repair work carried out by The Appliance Repair Men.

About this site

The information here describes the appliance repair work we provide across Homestead and south Miami-Dade County. It is general guidance and not a set of instructions for repairing an appliance yourself. Household appliances combine mains electricity, gas and pressurized refrigerant, and attempting a repair without the training and the tools is genuinely dangerous.

Trademarks

All manufacturer names, brand names, logos and model designations mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. The Appliance Repair Men is an independent repair company. We are not an authorized service agent for, nor affiliated with, any manufacturer named here.

What we provide

We provide in-home diagnostics and repair of household appliances: refrigerators, freezers, cooktops, ranges, ovens, dishwashers, washers, dryers, ice makers, wine cellars, coffee machines and trash compactors. We do not work on air conditioning, heating or ventilation equipment.

Quotes and approval

All repair quotes are flat and given after diagnostics. Nothing is opened up before you approve the price. If further problems come to light once work has begun, we stop and obtain your approval before continuing.

Warranty

We warrant our work for 30 days from the date the repair is completed. The parts we install are covered by the manufacturer warranty that applies to them. The warranty applies to the specific repair performed and the specific part installed. It does not extend to unrelated breakdowns, to damage caused by misuse or by a further attempt at repair by someone else, or to appliances that were already beyond economical repair and were worked on at your request.

Access and safety

We need safe access to the appliance and a working power or gas supply to test it. Where an installation is unsafe, for example a crushed or shared dryer duct, we will say so and we may decline to return the appliance to service until it is corrected.

Limitation

Our liability is limited to the value of the work performed. Nothing in these terms removes rights you hold under Florida consumer law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
