Two details make the visit shorter than it would otherwise be. The first is the model number, which is usually on the door frame, behind the kick plate or inside the drawer housing depending on the appliance. The second is a plain description of what the machine is doing rather than what you think has broken. "Warm on the fridge side, freezer still fine" narrows the possibilities far more effectively than "it stopped working", and it often decides which part travels on the van.
We book inside two-hour arrival windows. If a technician is running behind, you get a phone call rather than silence. Appointments are available seven days a week during the hours listed in the sidebar, and morning calls can usually be reached the same day.
There is no charge for the booking itself. The diagnostic charge is quoted when you book, it is the only charge you owe if you decide not to go ahead, and it is folded into the repair price if you do. Nothing is opened up until you have agreed a flat quote.
